European Plone Symposium 2010

The Second European Plone Symposium 2010 held in Sorrento. Five days of "Ploning" in two different appointments

Like past year the Plone Symposium disembarks in Europe. Like frame of event there is confirmation of one of most beautiful angles of entire continent, the wonderful Sorrento, and the period is that one of May, the better month of year in order to visit it.

26-27 May - the real Symposium session with talks and meetings
and closing with:
28-29-30 May - the long week-end dedicated to the Sprint.

We will be very happy to have you taking part to it, and naturally it won't be only work... you can spend your nights visiting the great scenario of Sorrento and of the nearby cities, trying great food and experiencing the Italian welcoming nature.

Where

Sorrento is the earth of the best lemon juice ever; they mix it with alcohol creating the Limoncello, a great refreshment. Sorrento is one of the most beautiful city in Italy and its coast is famouse for the sunny weather and the warm days, especially in May; you could even think of coming with your family, enjoyng both the Plone Symposium and a great holiday break.
We couldn't choose a better place for this meeting that Sorrento, with the great scenario of the Italian coast. The hotel can arrange transfers to and from the airport, or you can find more info about how to reach Sorrento clicking here or have a look to the panorama using the local webcam.

Accomodation

We have special prices if you are booking a room to attend the symposium, but remember to book asap because the rooms are limited. If you can't find a free room don't worry, the Mediterraneo Hotel will find you another room with an equivalent accomodation at walking distance at the same rate:

- eur 75,00 per person per night in double room
- eur 115,00 per person per night in single room
- eur 58,00 per person per night in triple room

Rates are valid for 3 nights minimum stays between 25/05/2010 (arriving on) and 31/05/2010 (departing on).
Fees include:

- half board treatment (with dinner and breakfast)
- use of meeting rooms during the Sprint event
- wireless connection for the whole stay
- shuttle to and from Sorrento Historical centre

To book a room please send an e mail to the hotel specifing you are member of the European Plone Symposium 2010. A credit card number will be requested. That's the best offer you can find to partecipate to the Symposium, logically you are totally free to book somewhere else but as you will se, that's the best deal to attend the symposium and get a good accomodation within a reasonable budget.

To participate to the European Plone Symposium 2010 will cost you 150€.
