Sino-Italian Sci-tech Exchange Programme
Activities relating to the co-operation between Città della Scienza and BAST (Beijing Association for Science and Technology) in the province of Beijing, are part of the broader Scientific and Technological Cooperation Program that started within Città della Scienza and some Chinese provinces. The agreement aimed to create a strong link between Beijing and the Campania Region in the fields of science and technology, economics and culture, aiming to promote an Italian-Chinese network of Città della Scienza and Technology.
The need
The management of a proposed five-year period of project between two opposing nations in terms of geography and culture requires a specific technology support accessible from both sides and coordination of information, data and programs in an active way. Both parties are committed to promoting active exchanges and cooperation in the dissemination of science and technology among the general public (particularly school and university youth and the general public); scientific training and technology support to small and medium innovative companies must be provided by this website.
Portal
These demands have created a portal that allows particularly access, upon registration, to a wide range of consulting services. The members of the platform will have access to an informative newsletter (by the application Plone Singing & Dancing), and will have an even quicker access to information through the chat site. Abstract has created an application strictly designed for work-groups to work together, we also designed a tool called Friends&Partners, which allows you to put in direct contact the demanding and supplying, and an archive of consultants with a database of companies that require nodes advice. Again the site is multilingual and has elements of text in Chinese.
