Why Abstract

Abstract is an open company: We are not a software house that offers ready packages or standard systems, we develop Intranet cut for the needs of your company and organization.
A factor of the success of modern Intranet is the integration with information systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) already in use in the company. In our past projects we have already developed Intranet based on the model of the Virtual Workspace: a real work environment that offers people a complete support to the needs of operation, services, communication and knowledge management.
Similarly, the development proposed by Abstract for each project is not geared to creating a simple website but a web application complex and functional through the Plone CMS as the main working tool. Plone is a project born in the open source community in which we firmly believe and to which we contribute through, meetings, sprint, participating in the Plone Conference and helping the Plone Foundation.
Sometimes it is useful or necessary in classical conception of the Web, for these cases we can only rely on recent years technology's tools: the LAMP: Linux - Apache - MySQL - (PHP/Perl/Python).
